Petolinski gets the vote over Durlston Bay, Ask The Umpire and Runaway Bishop. Petolinski likes it round here as proved by the fact that two of his three career victories have come on this stiff course, both in the month of May. He was far too good for previous course winner Jonny's Kick exactly a week ago, and lines up under a 7lb penalty. With conditions very much in his favour, Chris Popham's charge will take all the beating if in the same mood and is the one to be on. Durlston Bay hails from a stable better known for its Flat performers, but he shaped well enough when second at Huntingdon to merit a mention. Ask The Umpire gets weight all round and is a past course winner but looks up against it, while Runaway Bishop and Lord Broadway have both been successful over track and trip in their time but need to improve to take a hand on recent evidence. It is hard to knock the claims of Petolinski on that last visit here and he should prove the one to beat.
