This looks pretty competitive with several of these arriving in good form. Act Now is scheduled to make a quick reappearance after dotting up at Plumpton on Monday, though will have to shoulder a penalty. What A Diva dug deep to win a protracted battle with Pink Gin over track and trip a couple of weeks ago but will need to shrug off another 7lb rise if she’s to complete the three-timer. Tambura is probably a few pounds too high but she’s a thorough stayer who has her ground. SOCKSY was still showing signs of inexperience when winning over 2m3f here last time. She’s capable of better and is worth another try over this trip. Two Swallows, second at Wetherby after winning at Doncaster, certainly isn’t out of this and neither is the consistent Queen’s Present.
