        Verdict

        Cape Spirit has yet to win in 20 attempts but still has a chance in this on her earlier second over 1m4f here. Scrafton has not won on the Flat since 2014 and was still well beaten when third at Southwell last time but Barnacle was runner-up at Kempton on his penultimate start and may figure with a similar effort. CHESTNUT STORM has been competing over 2m recently but won over a shorter trip at Yarmouth in October and she may prove good enough in such a weak handicap.
