With the added bonus of James Bowen’s 3lb claims, this should be a straightforward task for DOUX PRETENDER as his Doncaster conqueror, St Michael’s Mount, was third next time in a Grade 2. Renwick has the build of a jumper and caught the eye in a Kempton bumper in February. Barley Hill has also shown promise in bumpers and is from a yard with a good strike-rate here so should make the frame at least.
