Daraz Rose was placed over fences at Stratford and Warwick 18 months ago but is getting a bit long in the tooth now. Reg's Ruby still has some scope, however, and finally got off the mark over hurdles in August. But, with Le Reveur having shown little on the Flat for Richard Guest this year, this may rest between Dica and OLYMPIAN. The former could only finish third when well backed on his chasing bow at Cartmel so preference is for the latter, who has won twice over hurdles this year and is worth another chance over the larger obstacles.
