Judies Child made a fair debut behind Olfa at Tipperary though that form hasn't worked out too well and she has since run moderately over 6f at Dundalk. Erins Gal has been showing good pace in handicaps over 6f so this drop in trip should suit while Karjera is having her first start over the minimum having raced mainly over 7f. The latter's trainer, Edward Lynam, appears to have a better chance with BALMONT MAST, who had some fair form in the spring, especially when not far behind Rose Bonheur in a Naas handicap, and is taken to defy a long absence. Velesgo has been disappointing but like many others in this event will be dropping back in distance. The Munster Maori is inconsistent but shows the occasional burst of speed so cannot be dismissed.
