COMPASS HILL (NAP) was having his first start in two years when producing a cracking effort behind the in-form Youceeyouceecee on heavy ground at Roscommon where he led at the furlong pole until fading close home. With that under his belt, he can carry his big weight to victory though there are plenty of dangers. Path Of Silver has been in fine form all summer and showed no sign of slowing down with a comfortable victory at Down Royal. A 7lb rise puts him on his highest mark but Eleuthera, another in excellent shape, is only 4lb higher than last month's course and distance victory. Lomi's Law hasn't raced over a trip this short for a very long time and was staying on over an extended 1m1f at Gowran while Camile's only victory came over that trip on this track.
