In depth

Verdict

Lone Star, a winner at Dundalk in February, didn't handle heavy ground at Leopardstown in April and will be much more at home on this surface. Crafty Codger progressed as last season went on and he ended with a comfortable victory at Dundalk in November but hasn't been seen since. Prussian Eagle has done most of his racing on much softer ground and Paddy Mac is taking a step-up in trip as is Little Fastnet, who has yet to race beyond 7f. BEYOND INTENSITY has only had five runs and competed at a higher level. She found 1m4f too far at the Curragh last time and this looks more her trip and level so she gets the nod to gain her first success.
