      Verdict

      IRISH REEL is very consistent and has twice narrowly failed against the in-form Cheval Rouge recently. She looks well enough treated to take this while South South West, who beat a strong field to lose his maiden tag at Galway, should have more to offer. Circle ran over 1m4f at Galway so it was a surprise to see her drop back to 7f at Leopardstown last time but she did the business and the extra 2f here shouldn't be a problem. Money Spider gained her first success on her 15th start at Naas where she looked likely to make further progress. Phoebe Van Gelder has won just once in 17 starts but shouldn't be discounted as she's generally thereabouts at a similar level.
