Verdict

Foxearth has yet to race beyond 2m2f and, though he produced his best run that day when runner-up to Mahler Ten at Downpatrick, this is a huge step up in trip. Lyreen Lad is another facing a much stiffer test of stamina as he has never raced beyond the minimum, though he did produce his best run to date at Limerick last month. Noel Meade has his horses in good form and Getaway Kid looked a certain future winner when just touched off by Miss Eyecatcher over 2m4f at Wexford earlier this month. He looks the more likely of the principles to stay the trip but a chance is taken with KYGO. Charles Byrnes' mare was in a commanding lead when falling at the last in a point at Borris House in February and, with stamina not an issue, she can make a successful debut under Rules.
