Aidan O'Brien runs three here but VENICE BEACH looks the stand-out option. He made a very promising start at Leopardstown in October and returned there a couple of weeks ago to be narrowly beaten into third after looking the likely winner. The longer trip will suit and he can see off the challenge of Clongowes. Jim Bolger's colt was only just behind the selection in October but had already run twice previously and he was beaten six lengths when runner-up on his reappearance at Naas. Jigsaw also represents Ballydoyle and the daughter of Galileo, who has an entry in the Irish Oaks, will do better with last year's run under her belt, a remark that also applies to the stable's third entry Max Liebermann, a full-brother to Battle Of Marengo and other winners. Haripour was a long way behind the selection earlier this month and needs to find much more.
