Verdict

Bishops Road began the year in cracking form with a victory at Leopardstown but hasn't done as well subsequently and was just starting to fade when falling at Limerick. Bellgrove makes his handicap debut over fences after landing a beginners' event at Down Royal though his path was cleared by the poor jumping of many of his rivals. COLDSTONESOBER is running well over hurdles and has mainly competed at a higher level over fences. He's on a lower mark than when successful at Galway in September and can add to last week's victory over timber at Sligo. Sir Harry Cash couldn't quite get to the front pair when narrowly beaten at Limerick but that was over a longer trip than this.
