Verdict

DAISY'S GIFT looks to be a smart stayer in the making and though this is tougher than the race she won at Kilbeggan to complete a double there's much more to come from the lightly-raced mare. Sandymount Duke will certainly ensure she doesn't have everything her own way as though he was left clear at the last at Kilbeggan he would have won anyway and at least proved he has no problems with the trip. Shantou Flyer was in excellent form in tough handicaps last autumn and though pulling up on his last start it was over fences where a bad mistake put paid to his chances. Flatfoot Boogie was running well when last seen though that was almost a year ago.
