Patrick Mullins' mount Redwood Castle appeared suited to fast ground when scoring between the flags at Ballydurn having disappointed on much softer going earlier. Spancil Hill made a winning debut at Lismore in March before a moderate run in a Fairyhouse bumper while Ground Invasion only had two to beat at Loughanmore last month and just scrambled home. FIDDLERS BOW was a bit unlucky not to make a winning debut between the flags and made amends in no uncertain terms at Lismore. Jane Mangan will ensure he gets a good ride and he could be good enough. Castletown Warrior looks the type to improve along with Cooladerry King, who has experience of running in a Gowran bumper.
