Cairdin's close second to King Vuvuzela at Leopardstown over Christmas was a fine run and it looks as though he's been kept back as a maiden over fences for this season. He looks sure to go well but may find CLONBANAN LAD too strong. Henry De Bromhead's charge has only run four times over fences but has been placed three times in strong company and should be forgiven his mid-division finish in the Paddy Power Chase at Leopardstown in December. Followmeuptocarlow had looked a certain future winner when twice narrowly beaten at Gowran before running well in a very tough Punchestown handicap a couple of weeks ago so he should be in the shake-up. Call Rog and Green Thirty Two can also make their presence felt in an interesting contest.
