Dermot Weld ran a debut-making filly against colts at Naas on Sunday and she slammed her rivals so the presence of Bee Queen is interesting, though this looks a strong maiden. Jim Bolger is in cracking form so VOCAL RESPONSE, who showed he handles these conditions with a staying-on run at Cork earlier this month, looks the one to be on though Pecheurs De Perles, who finished just in front of him, is an obvious threat. The latter had a fitness advantage and may not be capable of confirming the form but Tommy Hallinan should give a good account. He couldn't cope with Orderofthegarter at Naas and was beaten a long way into second but the winner landed a Listed contest on Sunday in great style so the form looks very strong.
