Luddsdenene didn't take to fences a couple of years ago but has improved recently over hurdles so could be well treated on his old mark. Winning point-to-pointer and hurdler Ballyadam Approach has his first start in a handicap over fences after three decent efforts but hasn't run since early last summer. Pat Garret has only won once in 16 starts over fences and is 15lb higher while Magnetic Force has yet to finish in a place in seven starts over fences. The nearest the latter came was on his latest start at Downpatrick when 13l behind OBISPO (NAP), who had been threatening a big run on his previous starts. Colin McBratney's charge has been raised 11lb which won't help and both career victories have come on fast ground but he was so impressive last time that he looks the one to be on.
