In depth

Verdict

A very strong line-up with useful hurdlers Acapulco Gold and Double Seven very interesting on their chasing debuts. El Fontan has had a few problems with his jumping but did nothing wrong when caught at the last by Devil's Elbow at Down Royal and a similar effort will see him in the shake-up. MARLAY PARK has had enough experience over fences and might have been a little unfortunate at Ballinrobe last time. He's taken to come out on top here though Nearest The Pin would be a good bet if able to repeat his second behind Hidden Cyclone at Leopardstown in December but he blotted his copybook when strongly fancied at Navan subsequently. Very progressive hurdler Burn And Turn will be better for her chasing debut over a trip too short at Roscommon and Catcherinscratcher found only the versatile Carlito Brigante too good when making her debut over fences at Killarney.
