Verdict
Company Coming, runner-up on fast going at Tramore in August, was still in the lead when falling four out at Listowel last month. Lilly The Lioness has had a busy summer, mainly over hurdles where she's won twice, and can revert to fences on a 13lb lower mark. Despite a couple of falls, The Conker Club was in good form in the spring, winning at Fairyhouse, and could prove a threat if the ground stays dry while Venture Lazarus was well supported at Listowel last month and was in touch when falling at the fourth-last. OLD CASTLETOWN has won over the minimum trip and an extra three furlongs in recent weeks so this trip should cause no problems. He has a 6lb penalty to contend with but should be up to the task.
