In depth

Verdict

Unless either of the two newcomers are very special, FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH should have little more than an exercise gallop. The Ballydoyle colt, a son of Oasis Dream out of the brilliant Attraction, made a gallant attempt to make all over 6f at Naas but was caught at today's trip by Big Time and couldn't get back. He's in all the big juvenile races in Ireland and there's nothing to concern him here though Ain't No Surprise should be winning soon judged on two decent efforts including in Listed class last month. Christy Roche' newcomer Bay Hill is a half-brother to eight winners though this looks too sharp.
