Beacon Lodge won this a year ago from a 7lb lower mark and though he hasn't won subsequently he would have a chance if the rain arrives as he loves soft ground. Seanie and Harry's Princess occupied the first two places in a Listowel handicap last time and the runner-up, who hasn't had much experience, can reverse the form on these terms but the winner is held by Strait Of Zanzibar on earlier running at Naas and the latter can go well at a fair price. Footprint wasn't far behind Seanie at Listowel and should get into the mix while the progressive three-year-old Vector Force gained a comfortable victory over older horses at Naas and must be on the shortlist. Another from the younger brigade, GONE VIRAL, has proved his versatility by scoring over 7f and an extended 1m1f at Gowran and though 11lb higher than his victory there last time he's taken to improve enough to overcome the extra.
