Verdict

Bremen hasn't been performing badly on the Flat since scoring over timber at Kilbeggan in July and the son of Sadler's Wells will love the testing ground. Kirbybroguelantern has won seven races in all and showed his first sign of promise over fences behind Prince Erik at Sligo last time. Dual bumper winner Lucky William raced in top company after landing a maiden over timber at Navan in February and is expected to do well over the bigger obstacles. Smoking Aces and Warne have both shown enough over fences to suggest they will soon be winning but this can go to QUESTIONS ANSWERED, who landed a tough Cork handicap over hurdles in April and was having his first start since and making his chasing debut when a very good third behind Taking Stock at Listowel last month where he would have finished much closer but for an error at the last. Wikaala has been busy on the Flat and over timber recently and was by no means disgraced on his chasing bow behind Kilmurry at the Galway Festival.
