Verdict

Jim Bolger won this a year ago and though Bunreacht has shown little in his three maidens he starts off in handicaps off such a lowly mark that he has to be of interest. Shalaman couldn't cope in better company at York but is a useful handicapper on his day and his young rider's claim is a major plus. Ebadani has found one too good in his last four starts but makes his handicap debut from a fair mark and must be considered. Catchy Lass has been racing almost exclusively on Polytrack and looked a few pounds high when only fourth last time so it's POSITIVE VIBES who looks the one to be on. Arthur Moore's charge scored over the course and distance in August and is just 2lb higher despite a fine run at Wexford last month where he couldn't quite hold off Mindy. Sheilas Wish has won four races, all at this trip on ground with a bit of give, and is no forlorn hope to make a winning reappearance.
