Verdict

Moss Tucker gained his only victory on this track but that was over 7f and he's never raced over this trip. Jon Riggens finished second here in June before landing a Curragh maiden. He started favourite for a premier handicap over 6f back there last month and though well beaten this is much more like his grade. RED WASP was beaten eight lengths in that Curragh maiden though showed the benefit by landing a Down Royal maiden. He'll be 15lb better off with Jon Riggens and looks the one to beat. Colfer Kay struck form on testing ground at the backend of last season and has dropped to a very fair mark so looks a threat while Iva Batt won on soft ground at Cork in May and is 2lb lower.
