Machiavelli was sent to Redcar for a minor handicap last week and started favourite but wasn't quite good enough and is now 0-16. Cork Harbour is on a hat-trick after victories at Clonmel and Limerick and though she's up 6lb she's only run six times so has scope to make further progress. Lustful found 1m6f beyond her behind stable companion Linger at Gowran but that was her debut for the yard and much better is expected here. MIRACLES IN MAY followed a promising handicap debut on this track with a victory over a mile at Naas. He's taking a big step-up in distance here but his pedigree suggests he'll be suited and he's improving enough to complete a double. Winning hurdler Alfred Wegener has only been placed once on the Flat but ran well behind Walkabout at Limerick and a big run from the latter in the previous division will enhance his claim.
