MISS EYECATCHER is the only one of these without an official rating but she's 121 over hurdles and looks like being a much better chaser after her very impressive victory at Listowel where she made all and jumped like an old hand. Jack The Wire won a handicap over 2m1f here in July though that was on good ground and he hasn't done so well in testing conditions subsequently. Coffee, four times a winner over hurdles, has performed better than his finishing positions suggest in his last two runs over fences though his winning form has been on quicker going while Marchese Marconi, who is in the same ownership, hasn't shown much aptitude for chasing.
Jack The Wire (IRE) 9-2fav (10-1) Rear of mid-division, 6th at 9th, dropped to 8th after 11th, detached and weakened 3 out, pulled up before last, at Listowel 2m 4f hcp hvy in Sep.
Miss Eyecatcher (IRE) 5-4fav (11-0) Made all, travelled well and asserted before last, eased run-in, impressive, won at Listowel 2m 4f hvy in Sep beating Ask Susan (11-0) by 8 1/2l, 6 ran.
Coffee (IRE) 10-1 (11-12) Soon chased leaders, moderate 3rd halfway, closer before 2 out, ridden in 4th after last, no impression and kept on one pace, 4th of 12, 15l behind Montana Belle (11-5) at Galway 2m 2f sft in Sep.
Marchese Marconi (IRE) 8-1 (10-4) Soon tracked leaders, 4th from 6th, pushed along in 3rd approaching straight, soon 4th again and no impression, 4th of 7, 27 1/4l behind Presenting Mahler (9-11) at Listowel 2m 1f hcp hvy in Sep.
