There's no doubt that Brog Deas is progressing at a rate of knots but his handicap mark has soared as a consequence and he has it all to do against Danequest, who finished only two lengths behind him on soft ground at Gowran last month and is a massive 15llb better off. Swerve won't mind the going though whether he'll stay the trip in the conditions is another matter though it won't be a problem for HAIL, who looks another for Ballydoyle. He hasn't quite hit the heights so far but looked in need of the run when returning over 1m2f at Leopardstown, where he was in the lead at this trip, and makes his handicap debut off a reasonable mark. Soohaad showed promise in her one start last term and was very well supported to make a winning return over 7f at Gowran which she did in taking fashion. With that under her belt and the longer trip sure to suit, she looks the main threat though Aquilonius has been going well on Polytrack.
