Verdict
The Game Changer is much better known as a chaser these days and had an entry in a Grade 2 over fences at Gowran yesterday. IVAN GROZNY came here for a Grade 3 in July and could hardly have won more easily. He followed up on the Flat at Galway in equally emphatic style and looks well up to this class. His stable companion Thomas Hobson has a penalty for a Grade 2 victory on heavy ground at Warwick but later defeats were in championship events at Cheltenham and Punchestown. Bentelimar is a consistent handicapper stepping up in grade so the main threat looks to be Hargam. Nicky Henderson's 2015 Triumph Hurdle third occupied the same spot behind Faugheen in the Christmas Hurdle but hasn't run since well beaten in the Champion Hurdle.
