Verdict

Trabajo was a disappointing favourite at Gowran on Friday while Resolute Bay has gone up 5lb for a battling Sligo victory. Mubrook, runner-up in a big field at Killarney in May, reappeared with a very good effort on the Flat at Listowel last month and is the type to do well this campaign. Double Seven continues to make progress and was brought with a well-timed challenge to score at Galway. He's up 8lb for that but should still take all the beating. Viaduct Joey appeared to enjoy the very heavy ground at Listowel but makes his handicap debut from a fair mark while Headford Flyer, who hasn't run since last May, is another handicap debutant to keep a close eye on.
