Verdict

The two penalised runners, Champagne Paddy and Daly Tiger, have both won bumpers. The former was impressive at Roscommon in June when there was plenty of give in the ground while Noel Meade's charge came here three weeks ago and came home with his head in his chest. Both should make hurdlers and go on to better things though face a stiff task in conceding weight to REAL STEEL (NAP). Willie Mullins charge was beaten a nose by Izzo on his hurdling debut at Fontainebleau in March and the winner has gone on to win three more races including a Grade 3 at Auteuil. Killasser Boy has shown enough in two starts for Gavin Cromwell that he's be winning soon though both runs were on good ground in the spring. Coldamour won a bumper on his debut here in March and ran quite well on his hurdling bow at Punchestown in May.
