ROYAL RENDEZVOUS won a point and two bumpers before landing a Galway maiden hurdle by 16l. He ran much too freely when pulled up in a Punchestown Grade 1 in May and his pedigree is all about jumping fences. Ministerforsport fell at the first on his chasing bow at Galway but then ran well at Naas and may just have need his comeback at Listowel when narrowly beaten into third. Discordantly led for a long way on his chasing debut over slightly further at Naas and is certain to have come on for the run while Demain Des L'aube gets a quick chance to prove Sunday's poor run at Navan all wrong as he was only headed close home by Dream Conti at Cork previously. Milan Native and the chasing newcomer Thermistocles are others to note in an interesting opener.
