Luddsdenene was having his 26th start over hurdles when scoring for only the second time over this track and trip last month so an 11lb rise looked excessive. That proved to be the case as he ran poorly at Naas later and remains on the same mark. Preswell Lad alternates between hurdles and fences but has a poor strike-rate though he's now dropped to such a lowly mark that he should do better. The Conker Club has run poorly in recent starts so this should go to SNOWELL. Liz Doyle's charge finally got off the mark at Clonmel last week and a 6lb penalty is halved by Jane Mangan's claim so a quick double looks on the cards.
