Rakhine State changed stables after a promising run at Ballinrobe and was well supported at Clonmel but failed to cope with Itsonlyrocknroll. He should be capable of better but US AND THEM may have his measure. Joseph O'Brien's charge showed plenty of potential in two starts in the spring and should get a stiffer test of stamina here. Lord In Red is the type to make progress this campaign as is Boot Camp, who attempted to make all when last seen at Punchestown in April and will be better for that experience. Winning point-to-pointer Smithscorner made a promising start in a Cork bumper but has been beaten a distance in both subsequent starts including over hurdles last time.
