In depth

Verdict

Plenty of well-connected newcomers here, particularly Anonis, who is related to several winners on the Flat. but experience can tell and STREETS OF NEWYORK fits the bill. Charles O'Brien's youngster made his debut in a very hot Leopardstown bumper last month won by the highly-regarded Waaheb and the run will have done him the world of good. Really Unique hardly picked his feet up between the flags but has done much better in bumpers and hasn't been beaten far in all three starts. Optic Measure made an encouraging debut on fast ground at Clonmel in September but was totally unsuited by heavy conditions on a return visit in November.
