Quarry Lil's victory at Killarney came over 2m1f from 7lb lower, though she's won over a couple of furlongs further. RULE OF JUNE has been making steady progress and only just failed to lose her maiden tag over 2m7f at Killarney. She's taken to go one better though Porterhorse showed her first sign of ability when staying on well behind the in-form Trees Valley at Listowel and there should be more to come. Musical Ava gained her only victory in 30 starts over timber at Kilbeggan in June but very nearly doubled her tally at Clonmel while Alice Johnston's recent good form has been over fences. Trickey Trix scored at Down Royal in August but had no answer to Eimear from 6lb higher at Clonmel with Cailean's Angel four lengths back in third.
