Verdict
Justification was a decent staying handicapper for Aidan O'Brien and may do better when sent over further. Refractor won on the Flat for Michael Bell and his new trainer will find a race for him in time and though Bawntameena was very moderate on the level he's done much better in his two starts over hurdles and should be winning soon. Giantofaman made a fair debut over timber behind the strongly fancied Mr Fiftyone at Fairyhouse when Miller Of Glanmire was 14l behind in third and the runner-up will have come on for that experience as will Coolfighter, a winner on the Flat in Germany, who made a promising hurdles debut at Navan in September. URANO, unbeaten in three French bumpers, has been a very costly failure over timber so far and was beaten when long odds-on at Killarney in May. But his overall form, especially when narrowly beaten by Ally Cascade here a year ago, is far superior to that of his rivals and he should finally get off the mark over timber.
