A poor quality contest but one which gives WESTERN PROMISE (NAP) an outstanding opportunity. Shane Ryder's charge looked a very progressive chaser in 2012 but wasn't seen again until last month when he attempted to make all in a 3m chase at Clonmel and was only headed at the last. He arrives here on a 15lb lower mark and is difficult to oppose. Ballinahow Oscar ran his best race so far at Limerick and Luke Dempsey's claim can help him reach a place.
