This is an above-average claimer and Doc Hay has the highest rating. He's won over 5f and an extended 7f on Turf this year but has only had three previous starts on the all-weather. Windsor runner-up Midnight Rider has run five times here but is still chasing a first victory while track regulars Commanche, Arctic Lynx, First Rebellion and Dark Lane have a lot to do at the weights. TROJAN ROCKET won a couple of Class 4 handicaps here at the start of the year and has kept good company since. He can be forgiven his latest run at Newmarket over a trip too far and get back to winning ways.
