In depth

Verdict

Tout Est Permis has returned to his best and had plenty in hand when landing the competitive Troytown Handicap at Navan. He has plenty of experience for a six-year-old and looks the main threat to TOTAL RECALL. Willie Mullins' charge was in tremendous form early last season before failing to finish in Gold Cups at Cheltenham and Punchestown and the Grand National. He reappeared with a much better effort behind Al Boum Photo at Tramore and can get back to winning ways. His stable companion Invitation Only was well beaten in that latter event and looks held while Sub Lieutenant finished a long way last though that was nowhere near his form.
