Verdict

Western Sea arrived in good form to win this a year ago unlike this time as he was beaten 39 lengths behind Filon D'Oudairies on a return visit early this month. The winner had Union Park five lengths behind though the latter will be 13lb better off with jockey claims taken into consideration so should turn the tables. YABO had shown plenty of potential in the spring and it all came together at Gowran last month where she had plenty in hand. She makes her handicap debut over fences and looks on an attractive mark. Brandy Harbour has been in superb form over hurdles, scoring by 14 lengths at Limerick last month, and would be an obvious threat if transferring that form back to fences.
