Bay Ambition won this in 2020 but is only slowly coming down the weights. It's a year since Robinstown scored over hurdles but he's been in good form recently and was only beaten a length in a big field of handicappers at Punchestown. Indiana Jones has fallen in his last three over fences so needs a confidence-booster but ERNIE MCCRACKEN (NAP) has been steadily improving. Emmet Mullins' charge ran his best race to date on his handicap debut at Gowran and, though 3lb higher, can lose his maiden tag. Shar Whats Therush ran very well after a long absence in a handicap chase at Fairyhouse in November and may be better over the bigger obstacles but could provide the main threat.
