Verdict

Hurricane Dylan hasn’t won for a while but came up against an improver when second at Huntingdon last month. Peter Kavanagh is a good jockey booking for Silk Or Scarlet, who would have a chance if on a going day. Not What It Seems appears to be the pick of Micky Hammond’s three runners but the Catterick runner-up is giving 17lb, less Jack Hogan’s allowance, to RICKETY GATE. A winner over course and distance in the autumn, Nicky Richards’ charge will have benefited from a recent third at Musselburgh.
