Verdict

Without Conviction was last of four behind Upandatit at Kelso and is unlikely to reverse the placings, despite the revised terms. Into Overdrive hasn’t taken to fences so far but is tried in cheekpieces today and Deep Charm is better than he showed at Wetherby, where breathing difficulties were reported post-race. ROYAL ARCADE (NAP) clearly found 2m too short at Ayr last time. An earlier second at that track was boosted when the winner scored again at Kelso last Saturday so the top weight gets another chance.
