This looks quite a tough maiden in which Lambro is certain to come in for support after his success in a Clonmel bumper in September though the experience of CRASH may just prevail. Michael Hourigan's charge, a winning point-to-pointer and bumper, made a very promising hurdling debut at Fairyhouse and though beaten when favourite at Naas subsequently he was staying on at the finish of that 2m3f contest and this trip will suit. Grancore Girl stays the trip and loves the ground but she has now had 10 starts over timber without winning so it could be What An Flyer, who made a promising debut over hurdles at Limerick, who proves a bigger threat as this longer trip will be just what's required.
