In depth

Verdict

Flash De Touzaine made a promising start to his hurdles career when second at Tramore and makes more appeal than Max Flamingo, even the latter showed a big improvement when runner-up at Downpatrick. CALL THE TUNE made mistakes on his racecourse debut at Downpatrick but he was getting the hang of things in the closing stages and Barry Connell’s six-year-old will have learned plenty from that. The former pointer Quarry Girl could be interesting if getting a run from her reserve spot while Bold Assassin showed promise around the turn of the year and could also play a part if fully wound-up.
