Several of these ran in the race won by Yaiza at Tramore with Mick Charlie faring best ahead of Pat Coyne and Chalky White. However, there is no guarantee that those places will be confirmed here. Though MARSHALLED ran his best race over hurdles over 3m, he did win over 2m at Clonmel earlier and looks just the type to thrive over the larger obstacles. Get Smart placed at Tipperary in the summer but was a disappointing favourite next time at Downpatrick. Midland Millie finally won over hurdles at Punchestown last month but she may need the experience today with The Chapel Field preferred.
