Several have been winning on the all-weather including Lord Caprio, who showed good progress with three victories at Newcastle over the winter. Odds On Oli also scored at Newcastle recently but has a 10lb hike in the weights to contend with while Amity Island was successful at Southwell last time and debuts on Turf today. Barbara Villiers has been thereabouts over longer trips at the all-weather tracks while Consultant is worth noting on his handicap debut along with BREATHABLE. Tim Easterby’s charge has been gelded since finishing third to higher rated horses than these in a novices’ race over track and trip last term and gets a speculative vote.
