        Verdict

        Few make any appeal and Thawry has yet to win either on the Turf or over this far. Bird To Love has won twice on the all-weather but is 5lb higher than February’s win at Chelmsford while Liva has won over hurdles since last successful on the Flat and the same comment applies to Calliope. SMART LASS has also been hurdling but returned a wide-margin winner at Musselburgh when last seen on the level in October and there should be more to come from Iain Jardine’s mare in this code.
