Kind Review bids for a hat-trick having won at Leicester on his comeback but is upped in class and raised 4lb today. Several of these are not badly treated on last year’s winning form including Kodiac Harbour, who will be sharper for an outing at Newbury, but a chance is taken on the returning IRV. Micky Hammond’s charge landed a couple of higher grade handicaps at York last summer before going off the boil and has undergone wind surgery subsequently. Wild Hope won off a higher mark at Ayr last season and City Wanderer showed good progress when winning three times in 2019 but Defence Treaty looks in further need of respite from the handicapper.
