Red Alert Day gets the vote to win ahead of the dropped in class Sudden Impact and newcomer Baldemar. The selection let down favourite backers last time out when turned over at odds-on and connections will be hoping that he can land this race, his third start. He drops a furlong in trip which should suit as he has got some early gears and assuming he handles the slower ground (sire did), then he can win today for his in-form stable. Le Toreador and Baldemar represent stables more than capable of readying a newcomer, and should be monitored for market support along with County Crystal. Mey Blossom should come on for her debut effort but would certainly need to and so of more interest may be Sudden Impact. Paul Green's filly has been highly tried since a pleasing debut but must be feared now back in more suitable company; she looks the main danger to the selection, however we will stick with Red Alert Day as the pick.
